What Are Access Rules?

Conditions that must be satisfied for someone to access Anchored data. Access rules are dynamically placed on new and existing files, which significantly reduces the time managing access controls. Organization(Default) Machine must be part of the data owning organization.


All files will be given global default access rules when Anchored.


How to Edit Access Rules on Admin Dashboard?

  1. Open the Anchor dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings>Global Policies>Admin Configurations           
  3. You can edit access rules from Admin Configurations.
  4. Click on Update.


Verify whether the file you are trying to access is in the correct context, as defined by your organization's access rules:


1. Right-click on the File

  •    Locate the desired file and right-click on it.

2. Access FenixPyre Options:

  •    Select FenixPyre from the context menu.

3. Display Access Rules

  •    Click on Show Access Rules.


4. Verify File Context

  •    Ensure the file is correctly in context as shown in the image below.
