Enable Anchor Agent auto-update

This article demonstrates how administrators can enable Anchors auto-update feature for the desktop agent in the Admin Dashboard.

Step 1: Login to Anchor Admin Dashboard and navigate to the Installers tab.

Step 2: Click the toggle button to enable auto-update located in the column labeled Enable release for update.

Note:  Auto-update can only be enabled for minor releases. Major releases still require you to uninstall and reinstall the agent. Once auto-update is enabled for an upcoming release, all prior releases will automatically be disabled as downgrade is not supported. At the time of release the Anchor agent will automatically be updated.
