Disable File Collabration Feature OneDrive

OneDrive has a default tendency to automatically sync Word, Excel and other Office Files that you open on your computer to OneDrive. This feature needs to be disabled for Anchor to work properly. Anchor disables this feature at the time of installation but if it is not disabled, please follow below steps to disable it.

  1. Open OneDrive Settings on your computer.

  2. On OneDrive Settings screen, click on the Office tab and uncheck Use Office applications to sync Office files that I open option. Prevent Office Files Syncing to OneDrive.

  3. Click on OK to save this setting on your computer

Note: After this, you will no longer find Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office files on your computer being automatically saved to OneDrive.
