Step 1: Initiate Encryption

  1. Navigate to the desired file within your Box account.
  2. Right-click on the file and select Integrations from the context menu.
  3. Choose the FenixPyre: Encrypt option.

  • A new window will open in your browser displaying a progress meter.
  • Once the encryption process is complete, a message will appear indicating that your data is successfully encrypted.

Important Notes

  • Single File Limitation: Only one file can be selected at a time for encryption or decryption due to limitations within Box
  • Folder Encryption: To encrypt an entire folder, use the Auto-Encryption feature.
  • Initial File Access: If you are Encrypting a file for the first time using FenixPyre, you will encounter a pop-up message as below. Click on Don't ask me again for this action. checkbox and the press Okay button to proceed.
