What are Right-Click Settings?

Right-Click Settings are actions available for users when following file governance rules. Endpoint users have been given all permissions listed below:

Permission

Description

Anchor

A user can Anchor (encrypt) a file. Files will be given default access rules when Anchored.

UnAnchor

A user can unAnchor (decrypt) a file. This action will be logged. Note, Anchor cannot control unAnchored files.

Edit Access Rules

 A User with access will be able to change existing Anchored files' access rules.

Show File Access Logs
A User with access wile be able to opens access logs for a selected file.

Backup

A user can access historical versions of Anchored files.

Attach to Email

In one click menu, a user can unAnchor and attach it to an email. This action will be logged. Note, Anchor cannot control unAnchored files.

How to enable Right-Click permissions?

Step 1: Log into the Anchor Admin Dashboard. Select Settings>User Roles.

  Step 2: Select the "action" symbol on the right denoted by 3 vertical dots and Edit.



Step 3: Scroll down to Right click settings and click "Expand". You will now have the ability to turn these permissions on/off by clicking on the switch in blue. Once finished please select Update in the top right of the window.
