Files may not be Anchored when the actions are performed:
A user opens an Anchored or unAnchored file in Adobe Acrobat Reader, DC Pro, DC standard, and save-as (to replace an existing file) in an Anchored folder.
To mitigate Anchoring gaps, Admins may deploy and configure Anchor in the following ways:
1.) Local Folders: Anchor scanner service will Anchor the file. Check the file in the anchored folder after a few minutes and confirm file is Anchored.
2.) Network Share: Admin can install Anchor server agent (More Information) on windows server and Anchor scanner service will Anchor the file. Check the file in the anchored folder after a few minutes and confirm the file is Anchored.
3.) OneDrive/SharePoint: Admin needs to enable Auto-encryption for the Anchored folder on SharePoint web. (More Information). Check the file in the anchored folder after a few minutes and confirm the file is Anchored.
4.) Egnyte: Admin needs to enable Auto-encryption for the Anchored folder on Egnyte web. (More Information). Check the file in the anchored folder after a few minutes and confirm the file is Anchored.
