Article Summary

This article will discuss a known limitation. Users who save-as a file from Adobe Acrobat reader, DC Pro, or DC Standard into an Anchored folder and replace an existing Anchored file; The new overwritten file will no longer be Anchored.

Files may not be Anchored when the actions are performed:

A user opens an Anchored or unAnchored file in Adobe Acrobat Reader, DC Pro, DC standard, and save-as (to replace an existing file) in an Anchored folder.

3.) OneDrive/SharePoint: Admin needs to enable Auto-encryption for the Anchored folder on SharePoint web. (More Information).  Check the file in the anchored folder after a few minutes and confirm the file is Anchored.

4.) Egnyte: Admin needs to enable Auto-encryption for the Anchored folder on Egnyte web. (More Information). Check the file in the anchored folder after a few minutes and confirm the file is Anchored.
