Allow Office applications to save files to non-protected folders

FenixPyre version 5.3.1+ allows you to enable Office applications and Adobe Acrobat reader to save files to non-protected folders. This option is configurable in the FenixPyre admin dashboard.

To enable this feature, do the following steps.

1. First, you need to add Office applications and Adobe Acrobat reader as Protect by Process (PxP) applications.This step is CRITICAL! You cannot enable Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat reader to save files to non-protected folders without first making all of them PxP applications.
2. In the FenixPyre admin dashboard, in the left menu, click Settings > User Roles.
3. Under Actions, click the three vertical dots icon on your desired user role. Then click Edit.

4. Click the Expand icon next to MS Office Add In Settings.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Save as setting and toggle it on to allow users to save Office Application files to non-protected folders.
