    What is an ignored folder?

    Files created in an ignored folder won't be anchored by the Anchor agent. 

    Note: Anchor, by default, does not monitor specific folders. This is because if files in these folders are Anchored, there is high chance applications will not behave as expected.

    How to add a folder as an ignored folder on the Admin dashboard

    Step 1: Select Settings > Global Policies > Advanced Settings

    Step 2: Add the folder as an unmonitored folder.

    Add folder path under Filters > UnMonitored to add the folder as an ignored folder.

    Note: We already added the below folders as default ignored folders.

     \Program Files (x86)\,\Program Files\,\ProgramData\,\Windows\
