This article will demonstrate how to manually install and sign in the Anchor desktop agent for windows 10/11.

Step 1: Login the Admin Dashboard and click on the installers tab. 

Step 2: Select the download icon next to the desired agent version in the Downloads column.

Step 3: Unzip the installer zip file you downloaded from the Anchor Admin Dashboard. You will find 2 executables, DAtAnchorInstallerApp.exe and DAtAnchorSetup_v3.0.0.exe

Step 4: Run DAtAnchorInstallerApp.exe.
*Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64) 2019 or higher is required to run AnchorInstallerApp on Windows Machines.


Step 5: Enter the Organization ID/Name (all lower case).



The installation will start and a command prompt window will appear. DO NOT CLOSE this window while the installation is in progress.


Once installation is complete, a reboot prompt appears


Step 6: Reboot to complete the installation,
Upon rebooting, sign in the Anchor agent. If the agent is not automatically opened, it can be accessed in the system tray by clicking the Anchor symbol.
